My Workspace
Nothing to report. Thought I'd give a quick look to the efficiency of my simple workspace. The only thing I'd add is another monitor off to the right displayed in a portrait format for a dedicated social communications space, but I make do with what I have.

- Dual 3 Ghz Quad-Core Tower Mac for the processor intensive work. Photoshop, After Effects, Video Editing
- Aging Macbook Pro that goes with me everywhere
- Chopped XBox Steering Wheel with an iPhone mount hacked on. Works awesome with Real Racing and Doodle Jump. Why'd I chop a perfectly good XBox steering wheel you may ask? Well, I just never turned it on, and I've made more use of this playing iPhone games than I ever did on the XBox.
- Flightstick Pro Joystick - I use it to flick between Spaces, as well as a few secret button combos for other quick tasks - all done through a piece of software called Controllermate. It takes a little while to pick up, but the more you tinker, the more powerful you realize it is.
- Sony fluffy pillow headphones
- Phone
- Double mice - one for tower and one for laptop. Great for when I'm leaning back and don't feel like lurching forward to click something on my laptop.
- Notepad and pen
- Energy liquid when I need it. I need to drink less of this.
- Hacked magazine rack. The base actually consists of those metal drawer things that you hang files from, double-side taped down so they don't move. And behind the magazines are ripped off old binder covers to keep the magazines straight.
- Books. You can't see, but I've propped them up using a desk lamp that I never use.
One other thing I forgot to notate is that my keyboard is sticky-tacked down, so it stays in place no matter how hard I type or bump into it.
So you can see, everything necessary is in perfect position for me to utilize it at a moment's notice. There's also that ShuttlePro off in the corner, but I wasn't able to find a place for it in my workflow with any particular application. But it's there in case I find one.
Do I need to mention, I really hate clutter?
